Who we are
Firebolt is a SaaS cloud application for managing big (huge!) data needs for clients as big as they can get. Our technological know-how allows us to make SQL queries fly both speedier and cheaper at the same time. Now it’s time for us to grow even more and we need you, a knowledgeable product designer to make sure our user experience has the fine balance between great usability and pleasing aesthetics and our brand excites people in our website and other communication channels.
Our Design Tech stack
Our main design tool is Figma, as it’s our mutual hub for the product’s design and decision making source of truth.
Our website is entirely designed and built on Webflow
Our brand encorporates a flat-ish vector style for 3D objects we create in Vectray on the web (not critical, as eventually the illustration is created in Figma anyway, but a knowledge of at least some level of any 3D tool is needed)
The job to be done
- Design the UI and improve the UX of our product as we go from one iteration to the next
- Work with the front end developers to make sure the product is built according to the design
- Conduct VQA and UX tests to make sure the customers receive the highest quality of experience
- Continue the design and development of our website in Webflow
- Assist marketing department with design tasks
You must have
- Complete knowledge of Figma with proven track record to show for (design systems, flows and asset creation)
- Good knowledge of Webflow and general understanding of how the web works (html + css)
- 2+ years of hands on UI crafting for web applications or websites
- A portfolio showcasing work you are proud of
- Knowledge of at least one 3D tool on a basic level
- A tendency to be a team player who values truth over ego
- Good English communication skills (both for team communication and brand tone of voice)
- A good relationship with the color red :)
A big bonus if you have
- B.Dez in visual communication from a known institute or academy
- Designed SaaS products before
- Designed products for developers, especially involving queries, tables and SQL
- Knowledge of coding JS (are you a unicorn!?)
- Good animation skills
- Proficiency with UX research and analysis
